Visit the 9/11 memorials.
New York City is the site of one of the most brutal terrorist attacks in history. The city has made a conscious effort to remind people that New Yorkers will not be swayed by terrorism, and this memorial stands as an important symbol of hope and resilience for us all.

Visit Central Park.
In 1857 Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux designed what was to become one of New Yorkers’ favorite places for a walk or a jog – that’s right: we’re talking about New York’s Central Park. New Yorkers are famous for their ability to make it work, and this park is one of the reasons why.

The Met was founded in 1870, when a group of wealthy New Yorkers – including John Taylor Johnston (of “Johnston’s Soup” fame) – donated their paintings to create a public collection. The best part about the Museum of Art is that it’s absolutely free to enter, so you can’t complain about the cost of admission.

The bridge’s construction was completed in 1883, making it a total of 15 years older than the city that surrounds it. It stands as an impressive symbol for international friendship between New Yorkers from every borough – well done!
It is also an ideal location for photoshoots

One World Trade Center is New York City’s tallest building, and once it opens for public visitors in 2014, One World Trade Center will be the world’s most expensive office space. Until then, all we can do is imagine what it would be like to go up to the top of New York’s “Freedom Tower.” To get an idea of what it might be like, check out the New York City skyline from One World Trade Center’s observation deck.
