In December 2020, Jesy Nelson quit the band and left the threesome to continue. The three girls emerged from lockdown recently. They said moving forward without Jesy Nelson is ‘exciting’.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards are out in full force to promote the three-piece. Moreover, the trio said that they have learned to adapt the band to a three-piece following Jesy Nelson’s exit. However, the girls fully support Jesy’s decision.
Little mix released their music video for ‘Confetti’. In fact, the girls were heading for an interview with Capital FM.
Their fashion statements always make heads turn, and this time around it was no less. Jade Thirlwall styles herself with an oversized boyfriend shirt matched with linen trousers and kept it cool. On the other hand, Leigh-anna Pinnock wore her sexy white boots and a minidress. Perrie Edwards kept it simple with a silk lemon two-piece PJ look.
The Trio’s Comments About Having One Less Member
Jesy’s exit from the world shocked the fans as it was sudden. The girls took some time to settle but they seem to have adapted to the new group formation.
“It’s still all systems go in Little Mix world. It’s just learning to adapt. I think it’s quite exciting,” she said.
Moreover, their single ‘Sweet Melody’ was an absolute hit. Jade was convinced was a “good omen” for the trio.
“That was like, ‘Oh wow, this is a good sign, good omen, that this year is going to be good for us’,” she continued.
In addition to that, Perrie Edwards, 27, revealed that they have been going to group therapy sessions as they continue to take the music world by storm.
Then, Perrie went ahead to say that, “We’re each other’s support system in a way because we’re sisters and feel every emotion together. We can always lean on each other.”
Little Mix At Capital FM
In conversation with Roman Kemp at Capital FM, the girls chatted about Jesy’s exit.
“I think, you know, if someone’s heart isn’t in it anymore and they don’t wanna do it, we’re never gonna force each other to do something we don’t wanna do,” Jade said referring to Jesy exiting the band.
The girls showed their support towards her by stating that:
“We supported that decision and it was very strange, thinking about doing this as a three. But we weren’t ready to give it up, so, we support whatever Jesy’s decision is,” they said.
The girls also spilled some good news for the mixers! Moreover, Perrie Edwards joined Capital’s Marvin Humes during an Instagram Live on Thursday night, spilling some details about their tour next year.
