The famous Canadian comedian, Katherine Ryan called out the Kardashians about the cosmetic procedures. She asked the Kardashian-Jenners to practice honesty over their alleged plastic surgeries in a new podcast.
Furthermore, Katherine, 37, opened up about her own cosmetic procedures. She claimed the Kardashians use doctors who perform vampire facials as a ‘smokescreen’ for their plastic surgeries. She said this at an appearance on Vicky Pattison’s The Secret podcast.
The reality TV stars, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as mother Kris Jenner and Kylie and Kendall Jenner, denied having plastic surgeries before. However, in comparison to their show debut that aired a decade ago, they look almost unrecognizable.
“I know she (Kim Kardashian) has Dr. Jason Diamond, he is the family dermatologist,” Katherine said.
She went ahead to explain further:
“Jason Diamond is a surgeon he does facelifts and things as well, but I don’t think he does any surgery on them. I think they are offering these two guys, as smokescreens to be like “here’s who I go to, for a lovely gentle vampire facial with them” but there’s someone with the fat guy in the back and that’s the person whose name I need,” she said.
The nickname of the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is ‘Vampire Facial’. Vampire Facial s a regenerative therapy treatment that uses nothing but the patients own blood.
In 2013, Kim Kardashian pictured herself getting on. After the procedure, she vowed to never get one ever again.
The ‘Vampire Facial’ Procedure
The procedure is quite peculiar. The doctor first extracts the patient’s blood from their arm. Then, they spin it in a machine to remove the platelets. Platelets are a component of blood that helps stop bleeding/repair damaged blood vessels and cells. After that, the plasma is then splattered on the client’s face using tiny acupuncture-type needles. Apparently, it helps regenerate cells and collagen in the ace.
Apparently, Vampire helps in the removal of the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles. It also open pores, and plumps or volumizes areas where many get fillers.
‘That’s not a criticism, it’s like don’t treat me like an idiot. There is a point where we have to be honest and share the wealth,” the comedian said.
