Katie Price recently celebrated her engagement with Carl Woods. The couple has a 10-month romance going on. Besides that, Katie celebrated her bankruptcy too. Apparently, bankruptcy is the best thing that had ever happened to her.
The former glamour model, Katie Price, revealed her bankruptcy allowed her to have the last laugh. The mother of five said those who tried to get ‘everything’ out of her ‘financially’ can no longer because she is bankrupt.
Moreover, the soon to be Mrs. Woods told OK! Magazine:
“I’ve been sucked dry in the past. Everyone mentally abused and broke me. It’s not like I have skeletons in my closet, but everyone tried to get everything they could out of me. But now, I can go to sleep at night and I just think, ‘F**k it.’
She declared bankruptcy on November 2019 at the High Courts.
“My bankruptcy is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Because anyone who has ever been in my life before has tried to take from me, financially mostly. Now they can’t, as I’m in a bankruptcy. I love it,” she said.
Katie Didn’t Buy Her Own Engagement Ring This Time
Carl Woods chose a beautiful ring for his future wife. According to Carls, he wanted the perfect ring. He got his ring from a family Jeweller at Rankins in East London.
“Jodie Rankin helped me with the design. I knew what Katie had her eye on and added my own touches. Like Katie, it’s a one-off, a truly stunning piece. I knew when I went to pick it up this was more than special – it left Katie speechless, put it that way! The ring in all is just under seven carats,” Carls explained.
Katie gushed over her ring.
“When I saw the ring, I couldn’t believe it. It’s so amazing. I was always looking at rings on Pinterest and saving loads of pictures. He was definitely looking on my Pinterest for ideas. Carl, did you look at my Pinterest?” Katie said.
Besides that, she made a controversial statement about her previous engagements.
“I didn’t have to buy my ring this time! It was made from scratch and came out of his own money. He designed it – it’s really special. It’s like a fairy-tale ring and massive. Actually, like something out of Hollywood. It’s more than I could dream of,” she said.
Wedding Plans Are Ongoing
Though Katie Price is bankrupt, she is excited about her wedding. In fact, the couple looks forward to getting married this year, as lockdown restrictions continue to ease amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
As of now, only 30 people can attend the wedding. However, Brits are hoping the restrictions will be lifted in the summer if the rates of coronavirus stay low.
Katie previously went down the aisle three times. She married; Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler. However, they all ended in a divorce. This will be her fourth time.
Besides the wedding excitement, Katie declared her major priority and focus will always be her children; Harvey,18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, 7, and Bunny, 6.
