If anyone is in the mood for some fried chicken in the big city, they can have another way of getting what they desired when a new Chick-fil-A opens this fall.
This fast food chain is well known for their chicken sandwiches, strips, nuggets, salads and sides. Â Chick-fil-A has been spreading all around the country and it made rivalries with other fast food industries. Â Some fast food places such as Taco Bell try to fight off the competition by adding chicken meals to their menus.
The new Chick-fil-A establishment will be placed in the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst. Â The new location for them will be in the food court area and in between Nathan’s Famous and Taco Bell, according to the grub street website.
In order to promote their new place of business, Chick-fil-A will offer a year of free chicken sandwiches for the first 100 customers. Â When the opening draws near, New Yorkers will be lining up and camping out in order to get their free chicken. Â They call the event, First 100.
During the First 100, people have to be present at the mall at precisely 6 a.m. on the day before the opening and they have to wait in line until they open the doors. Â The first 100 people are given a ticket that allows them to get a year of free food. Â Most people bring their sleeping bags and camping equipment so they could survive the night.
The chain hopes to draw out their business in the city, but the opening won’t just involve people wanting free chicken, but also people who are against the idea of putting their restaurant there.
For those who enjoy chicken and Chick-fil-A, come to the grand opening of the new location in Queens on September 1 and see about getting free food for a year.
