After a massive discount, the Hearst Estate at Beverly Hills is now going for $89.75 million. It is a luxurious Mediterranean revival-style mansion.
Ties related to Hearst Estates
The mansion has ties related to John F Kennedy, William Randolph Hearst, and “The God Father” film. “Charlie’s Angel” and “The Bodyguard” were filmed at the mansion in 1980 and 1990.
In 2019, singer-songwriter Adele held her 31st birthday party in the mansion.
Moreover, pop icon Beyonce was filming her “Black was king” visual album here in 2020.
Hearst Estate’s history
Gordon Kaufmann had built it in 1927. Greystone Mansion and Hoover Dam had designed the luxurious mansion. Milton Getz, a local banker, had initially requested the design. The design had done for Milton Getz, a local banker.
Later, William Randolph Hearst and actress Marion Davies had purchased the beauty for $120,000. Willian Hearst was in his 80s. Moreover, in 1953, John F Kennedy and Jacqueline were spending their honeymoon in the mansion.
The size of Hearst Estate
The H-shaped mansion is 37,000 square feet. An Art Deco nightclub, an Olympic size swimming pool, and a tennis court are part of the mansion.
Furthermore, a two-story library, two separate apartments for guests or staff, and a five-bedroom gatehouse are within the Hearst Estate.
In total, 24 bedrooms are spreading through the main house, staff quarters, and guest house. A substantial antique fireplace in the billiard room highlights the place.
Besides that, there are 15 bathrooms and eight bedrooms that create a posh living space. Under the massive 22 feet arching hand-painted ceiling, a historic library had been situated. The mansion can accommodate 1000 guests. Complimenting the estate in Beverly Hills are lawns, waterfalls, and sun-soaked terraces.
Why is the Mansion on sale
The reason behind the sale follows a petition filing by Fortress Investment Group because of bankruptcy.
